Learning guitar means memorizing dozens of chord shapes. Chord Chart shows you exactly where to place your fingers on the fretboard for any chord you need. When you select a chord, the app plays it aloud so you hear what it should sound like. You can also browse through classic chord progressions—like the pop I–V–vi–IV or 12-bar blues—to understand how chords work together in real songs.

What it does

The Chart tab displays a fretboard diagram for any root note and chord type you choose. Frets show where to place your fingers, with numbers indicating which finger to use. Strings and mute marks are clearly labeled. When you tap a chord, it plays through your phone's speaker as a synthesized strum. The Progressions tab lists common progressions like blues, folk, and jazz. Tap to step through each chord in a progression, hearing each one in sequence. You can mark progressions as favorites and filter to show only those.
