Publish and send the link
Your app gets its own link. Anyone can open it on any phone or laptop, and nobody needs an account to use it.
Why start from an app instead of a prompt
Describing an app from nothing is hard: you have to know what you want before you’ve seen anything. Changing an app you’re already using is easy, because you can point at what’s wrong. That’s the whole idea behind Remix.
And when you do have an idea of your own, “Create” builds a new app from one sentence. A complete new app takes a few minutes instead of one.

Three kinds of app, and the builder picks the right one from what you ask for:
- Web apps that remember things on your device: trackers, timers, calculators, tools, games.
- Web apps with a small shared database, for groups: polls, boards, sign-up sheets, leaderboards.
- Phone apps written in React Native, which you open on your own phone in one tap.

What it won’t do
- Remix makes small apps that do one job well. It is not the tool for a full product with user accounts and payments.
- Your app’s users can’t sign in to it, and it can’t take payments.
- It doesn’t publish to the App Store or Google Play for you. You can export the code and build it yourself.

Is this AI app builder free?
Using any app in the feed is free and needs no account. Each month you get 2 free remixes (a remix = changing someone’s app, a new version of yours, or a new app from an idea). After that a remix costs $0.50 from prepaid credit, with no subscription, and a remix that fails gives the $0.50 back. Pro is $19.99 a month for 100 remixes a month + the Advanced console.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe what you want in plain words, by text or voice. If you do code, you can export any app you own to GitHub or GitLab, or download it as a ZIP, and keep going in your own editor.
How long does it take?
A remix of an existing app usually takes about a minute. A brand-new app from an idea takes a few minutes, because it is built from scratch.
Who owns the app I make?
You do. It shows up under your remixes, you choose whether it is public, unlisted or private, and you can export its code at any time.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Remix works in any phone browser, and it is also in the CodeAgent Mobile app for iOS and Android. The apps you make work on phones and laptops alike.
