CodeAgent Mobile is a mobile companion app that lets you control Windsurf and its Cascade agent from your phone. Install the CodeAgent Mobile extension from Open VSX into Windsurf, pair the IDE with the app, then send prompts and stream Cascade's responses, diffs, and tool calls directly to iOS or Android.
How it works
Pair your phone with Windsurf (Cascade) once. After that, every prompt and response flows between the two automatically.

Open Windsurf and go to the Extensions panel (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+X). Search for "CodeAgent Mobile" — Windsurf uses Open VSX, which is where CodeAgent Mobile publishes.

Click Install. A "CodeAgent Mobile" sidebar appears with the pairing controls.

Click Pair Device — a 6-character code and QR appear.

Open CodeAgent Mobile on your phone, tap "Pair Device", scan the QR or enter the code, and confirm.

Type a prompt in the mobile app — Cascade runs in Windsurf locally and streams the response, diffs, and tool calls back to your phone.
