CodeAgent Mobile

A multi-agent mobile remote control. Pairs your phone with VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, JetBrains IDEs, or any terminal that runs the codeam-cli, then forwards prompts to whatever AI agent is running locally — Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor's agent, Cascade, Copilot, JetBrains AI Assistant, or Junie.

Strongest for developers who switch between IDEs (VS Code at home, JetBrains at work, terminal on a remote box) and want a single mobile app that follows them. Less useful if you only ever use one tool and a focused single-agent app would feel simpler.

Omnara

A focused mobile remote control for Claude Code, available on iOS and Android. Like CodeAgent Mobile's Claude Code support, it pairs the phone with a CLI on your laptop and lets you drive Claude sessions remotely.

Cursor iOS app

Cursor ships an official iOS app, but it is a chat client tied to Cursor's cloud — not a remote control of the Cursor agent running on your laptop. You can ask questions and get code back, but it cannot edit files in your local repo or pick up your laptop's project context.

Useful for asking quick coding questions on your phone. Not a substitute for CodeAgent Mobile or Omnara if your goal is "drive my AI agent on my laptop from my phone".

When to choose CodeAgent Mobile

  • You use multiple IDEs (VS Code or Cursor at home, JetBrains at work).
  • You need both VS Code-family AND JetBrains plugin support in one mobile app.

  • You also want a CLI for terminal-only Claude Code workflows in SSH or Docker.

When to choose another tool
