Refund Policy

Summary

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time purchases of any paid plan. Renewals can be refunded at our discretion within 7 days. Web-channel refunds are processed through Kelviq, our merchant of record; mobile in-app purchases go through Apple or Google per their store policies. To request a refund, email support@codeagent-mobile.com with your order ID and the reason for the refund.

1. Merchant of Record

Web-channel paid subscriptions to CodeAgent Mobile are sold by Kelviq, which acts as our merchant of record. Kelviq is responsible for processing payments, calculating taxes, issuing invoices, and processing refunds for those purchases. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Mobile in-app purchases (iOS App Store, Google Play Store) are billed and refunded by Apple and Google respectively under their store policies — please file refund requests for those through the App Store or Google Play directly.

2. First-Time Purchases — 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase date, no questions asked. This applies once per customer.

Upon approval, the refund will be issued by Kelviq to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. Your subscription will be cancelled at the time the refund is processed and you will lose access to paid features.

3. Renewals

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically. If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal you no longer intend to use, you may request a refund within 7 days of the renewal charge. We evaluate renewal-refund requests case by case based on usage during the new billing period — if you have not actively used the Service since the renewal, refunds are typically granted.

You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the web dashboard (Settings > Subscription > Cancel) without contacting us; cancellation prevents future charges and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

4. Exceptions and Non-Refundable Items

We may decline a refund request, in whole or in part, in the following cases:

  • The request is made more than 14 days after a first-time purchase, or more than 7 days after a renewal.
  • The account has been suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms and Conditions (for example, abuse, fraud, or reselling the Service).
  • The request relates to consumption that already happened — e.g. a yearly plan used for several months before the refund request, beyond the eligibility windows above.
  • Outages, latency spikes, or failures caused by third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, GitHub, Supabase, Vercel, Kelviq, etc.). We work hard to mitigate those but cannot refund subscriptions on the basis of upstream-provider downtime.
  • Charges initiated by chargebacks raised through your bank or card network. If you raise a chargeback we will close your account and may dispute the chargeback through Kelviq.

5. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits the consumer rights granted to you by the laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with statutory cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply in addition to (and prevail over) the windows described above where they grant you more protection.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email support@codeagent-mobile.com from the address associated with your CodeAgent Mobile account and include:

  • Your Kelviq order / invoice ID (visible in the receipt Kelviq emailed you).
  • The date of the charge you want refunded.
  • A short reason for the refund (helps us improve the Service).

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Once approved, Kelviq processes the refund and you will see the credit on your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the app, by email, or by a notice on our website at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Refund requests are evaluated under the policy in force at the time of the underlying purchase.
